Cockatoo Rescued From Divorced Couple Now Repeats Their Hilarious Fights

Peaches the Cockatoo could be her own lawyer.

Parents shouldn't fight around their kids, and apparently, pet parents shouldn't fight around their animals, either.

Peaches the Cockatoo has been living with Elaine and Don Sigmon for 23 years, but still carries baggage from her previous home. Her new owners explain that she had come from a divorced couple and randomly mimics what appears to be their hostile fights.

"A few days after coming into our home, she began her show and we all laughed hysterically. We cannot make out what she is saying when doing this arguing," Sigmon told TODAY.

We don't think this is the kind of trick Peaches' new parents had in mind when they got her, but the Sigmons say she's a joy otherwise.

They say she cuddles and also knows how to say "I love you" and "hello."

Just don't try to start a fight — she knows how to lay it on thick.
