19 Illustrations That Show Little Moments Of Love We Should Never Take For Granted

“The little moments are just as important as the big ones.”

Some couple moments get more play than others because they're considered "big moments." We often hear about people hitting relationship milestones such as anniversaries, meeting the parents, proposals, moving in together, weddings, and becoming parents. Then, there are all the firsts such as the first time they say, "I love you," their first big argument, and their first vacation together. But what about all the stuff that happens in between all those major milestones, firsts, and grand gestures?

Those are the kind of moments you'll find in Pascal Campion's illustrations. The French-American artist, who is an art director on the upcoming Netflix show Green Eggs and Ham, captures the tender, comfortable moments between two people in love in many of his sketches.

He shows them embracing in the kitchen in between slicing some bread and drinking coffee, escaping a party for a few minutes just to have a moment alone together, and sharing headphones on a train ride so they can both jam out to a song they love. He also shows life with kids, depicting cuddling in bed with a newborn and dancing together as a family in the kitchen.

"The little moments are just as important as the big ones," he told HuffPost

"In 2006 Pascal began to truly develop his own art and style, but lacking time due to his full time job, he had to come up with an efficient solution," his website states. "It was then that 'Sketch of the Day' was born: every morning, first thing, he creates a sketch, albeit full color, and a story unto itself."

Many of these sketches are inspired by his life experiences and moments that bring him happiness and satisfaction. Campion started dating his wife Katrina 16 years ago and they've now been married for 10 years. They live in Burbank, Calif., with their three children — a 9-year-old daughter, Lily, and 6-year-old twin boys, Max and Colin. Campion's relationship with Katrina and his kids are the inspiration behind many of his illustrations, which contributes to making them feel as real and relatable as they do.

Campion's enchanting illustrations about love and family, as well as his professional work in film, print, and commercial campaigns have earned him a large following on both Facebook and Instagram. He shares his latest work on both platforms and also sells it over at his website
