These Photos Of Parents Meeting Their Adopted Daughter For The First Time Say More Than Words Could

Pass us a tissue, already.

Meet David and Sarah Olson.

The photo above was snapped by Kristen Anne, a photographer who accompanied the two to Tallahassee, Florida, to meet Tilly Pearl Olson, their new adopted daughter, and captured this touching moment on film.

The pair already has two sons, one of whom has spina bifida, a birth defect where the spine does not develop properly.

"We both knew that our family wasn't complete yet. We knew that we wanted three, we always wanted three," Sarah Olson explained in the video uploaded on YouTube. "[Doctors] advised it probably wouldn't be a good idea, because with a third child there's a higher risk of having another child with spina bifida, much worse case."

This was when the idea of "completing their family" through a process of adoption started to grow on them.

These touching photos capture the intimate moment they meet their daughter for the first time...

"Just like the pregnancies that you had and the excitement of giving birth to your child, you had that same excitement of bringing home this kid through a process of adoption," David Olson explained.

... and then this.

These photos simply speak to us.
