Theme Park Employees Are Sending Love To Orlando In A Beautiful Series Of Photos

An incredible showing of support for the "Theme Park Capital of the World."

The devastating shooting that took place at Pulse nightclub in Orlando this weekend has inspired countless messages of love and acts of kindness from around the world. Some of that support is now coming from theme park employees.

Orlando is known as the "Theme Park Capital of the World," home to such places as Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. So it's only fitting that the people working in these parks have been showing solidarity with the city through a series of heartwarming photos.

Kevin O'Brien, who the Orlando Sentinel reports has been working in the theme park business for 27 years, has compiled photos on his Facebook page of performers, characters, and other theme park workers posing with their fingers in the shape of a heart.

Since Sunday, O'Brien has collected dozens of photos into multiple albums. The support doesn't just come from those working in Orlando, but from around the world. As O'Brien wrote in the caption of one of his albums, "I love you for doing this and showing LOVE conquers HATE."

O'Brien told the Sentinel that a lot of his friends and family go to Pulse, adding, "I'm here to just say that we are all thinking of friends and families and the love ones who were hit hard with this!"

This outpouring of love is especially moving since one of the victims of the shooting, 22-year-old Luis Vielma, was an employee at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal. Author J.K. Rowling expressed her sadness over his death on Twitter.

What an incredible showing of support from a community that brings so much joy to people around the world each and every day.
