In a new Nike commercial that launched this week, the women's soccer team — who started the World Cup with a dominant 3-1 victory over Australia — is seen going all out at practice.
This amazing commercial comes at the perfect time: the United States vs. Australia game had 3.3 million viewers, tripling a similar game from 2011. Those numbers beat the previous record of 2.5 million viewers from the 1999 game vs. Denmark. It's an awesome time for women, for sports, and for America. And this commercial has it all.
