This Football Player Took An 18-Year-Old Cancer Patient To Prom. And She Looked Absolutely Stunning.

She said yes!

Promposals have taken the Internet by storm, and now, the National Football League is getting in on the action.

The Jacksonville Jaguars shared a tweet containing a video of their defensive tackle, Sen'Derrick Marks, surprising an 18-year-old cancer patient by offering to take her to prom.

He went to Khameyea Jennings' room in Wolfson Children's Hospital to ask her in person, a dozen roses in hand. She said "yes."

The promposal was facilitated by Jacksonville, Florida's chapter of Dreams Come True, a nonprofit dedicated to making the impossible possible for kids with life-threatening illnesses.

After the initial ask, they got straight to planning.

"What colors should I wear?" Marks asked.

Jennings didn't hesitate. "White and gold," she responded.

UPDATE: Here is the awesome couple at prom. Marks gave her the tiara as a gift.

Because Jennings is battling cancer, she wanted this day to be normal. Marks was happy to oblige.

"I really want to make a difference," he told Jacksonville.com. "I want to do something where you actually make someone's day, to make a difference in someone's life."

According to the Jaguars, Jennings "made quite the entrance."

Amazing.
