Chilling New 'It's On Us' Ad Shows A Side To Sexual Assault No One Ever Sees
One of a few ads put out by the government to stop sexual assault.
If you saw someone getting taken advantage of, would you step in?
That's the question that a new government-released PSA hopes to have people thinking about. The ad is running as part of the new "It's On Us" campaign, executed by The White House to get bystanders more involved in stopping sexual assaults and rapes.
Instead of putting the focus on telling victims what to do (not okay), the ad calls the "onlooker" to take action if they see something fishy about to happen. In this video, it's a drunk woman getting accosted by a male partygoer.
The above happens when someone steps in to stop it.
