New Dads Talk About The Struggles And Joys Of Fatherhood, And Why 'It's All Worth It' In The End

"It's a battle, it's a struggle. But I wouldn't change it for the world."

In this video we get to hear from a slew of fathers on what makes raising their kids so difficult, but simultaneously so joyful. The dads express everything from experiencing feelings of loneliness in the first weeks, to being surprised at how much bodily fluids there are to clean up, to sadness about giving up "sexy time" with their partner.

"Everything you own is covered in avocado," whispers one dad. A second father adds, "It's a very lonely period, that first week or so."

But with all the struggles come the rewards of having a new member of your family.

"You know anything she does, she doesn't mean to do it to you. She's just a baby," says one father. "I need to work hard for my family, and a part of me wants to wrap my arms around them and never let go," says another.

Through all the ups and downs of raising kids, each father agrees that it's all worth it.

"It's a battle, it's a struggle. But I wouldn't change it for the world," concludes a father at the end of the video — and that is a sentiment that seems to be shared by many.
