People Tweeted Their Most Genius Ideas, And We're Inspired And Confused At The Same Time

"I would like to see a 'chip press' that gathers all the crumbs from the bottom of the chip bag and forms it into one final chip."

What's a genius idea for an invention you'd love to see come to fruition?

During Jimmy Fallon's latest segment of his "Hashtag" game, The Tonight Show host asked Twitter users to post "something funny, clever, or useful you'd like to see invented and tag with #MyGeniusIdea." Fallon then chooses his favorites and reads them aloud on the air. Some ideas seem extremely useful while others have us scratching our heads wondering what's going on in these people's lives.

Several concepts revolved around food, such as a "chip press," which gathers crumbs in a bag and forms them into a final chip, or a tube that will shoot pizza rolls from your microwave directly into your mouth.

Others thought of cats while considering their inventions. One woman just wants a way to show cats what it's like to own a pet. "A smaller cat for your cat to teach them how annoying it is to own a cat," she tweeted. Another wants to invent an alarm clock that sounds like a cat vomiting to get her up and at 'em in the morning.
