Muslims Asking Non-Muslims Questions Will Make You Check Your Prejudices

With a global population of 1.6 billion, Muslims make up a large part of the world. But misconceptions about Islam that characterize the religion as violent and stereotype its practitioners as terrorists have fueled Islamophobia in many developed countries. 

In light of this presidential election's increasingly hostile rhetoric against Muslims, a new BuzzFeed video put non-Muslims armed with questions for Muslims in front of the camera. From Santa Claus to bacon-infused donuts, hijabs to religious extremism, they turn the tables for a humorous takedown of non-Muslims' cultural quirks and, more importantly, prejudices.
