Angelic Device Saves Blind Dogs From Getting Hurt

"It's like his Superman outfit."

This is Muffin, a 13.5-year-old toy poodle who went blind two years ago.

Muffin's owner Silvie Bordeaux says she was devastated to see him bumping into the walls and falling down the stairs.

After no luck in finding a solution, Silvie decided to take the matter into her own hands. And so Muffin's Halo Guide For Blind Dogs was born.

Muffin's Halo is a literal angelic halo device that encircles a dog's head and prevents him from bumping into things.

According to Silvie and other pet owners who already tried the halo, it helped their dogs to recoup their self-confidence.

"It's like his little Superman outfit," says Silvie.

The halo is made from a lightweight copper tube and attached to a pair of vest-like cloth wings.

Muffin's Halo comes in various colors, sizes and designs: angel wings, butterfly wings and even a football uniform.
