Watch This Military Mother Come Home To Surprise Her Daughter At Her 'American Idol' Audition

So many tears.

Tristan McIntosh wished her mother, serving overseas in the military, could be at her "American Idol" audition.

As shown in an emotional video uploaded to the show's Facebook page, McIntosh, 15, started off her audition by telling judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry Connick, Jr. that unfortunately, her mother could not be there today.

"But I really want to make her proud," she said.

Then, McIntosh sat down at the piano and sang a stunning, heart-wrenching cover of Mickey Guyton's "Why Baby Why."

When the song was complete, Connick, Jr. revealed that he had a special note for McIntosh, and read it aloud.

"You've always called me your big hero, but today, you are my big hero, because you are doing something that you've dreamed about since you were 10 years old."

McIntosh, Lopez, and Urban tear up. And as a final surprise, McIntosh's mother appears from behind the scenes to surprise her daughter.

Later, Kelly Clarkson even tweeted:

Overall, it's an emotional reunion on a day we're sure McIntosh will never forget.
