When This Little Boy Asked To Be Transformed Into A Drag Queen, His Awesome Mom Was Happy To Oblige

"Ma, we need to buy a wig."

One little boy called K is breaking down gender norms with the help of his very hip mom, Stesha-Mikli Feria Jorge. The mother-son duo took a love of RuPaul's Drag Race to the next level by transforming themselves into a pair of super fabulous drag queens.

It all started when, upon watching RuPaul's reality TV show, Jorge's 6-year-old son said, "I want to do that also!" Out came the makeup palettes with every color of the rainbow, the perfect way for K to experiment with looks on top of a Power Rangers blanket in front of a mirror.

Next up, Jorge wrote, was to help K achieve the perfect wings, put on eyelashes (he insisted, after all), and a little snack — without ruining his lipstick, of course. While mom thought her little guy looked "beautiful," she was told the look was incomplete because they needed to buy a wig.

With the look complete — thanks to the addition of a totally glam red dress — all that was left was for drag names to be assigned. K dubbed himself Ballooni Liteg (apparently with a silent e and a silent g) and mom got Cat Astrfi.

Jorge also dolled herself up, not wanting to feel left out of all the fun.

It was then time for Jorge to take a stunning portrait of K. "Sashay," it was captioned.

Whether or not K saw this as an expression of gender or identity, or just as pure playtime fun, we love how his mother was totally open to aiding him in activities often deemed unacceptable in today's culture in regards to gender. It's 2017 and thankfully we're moving past boys having to play sports and girls having to play with dolls.

Their story has gone viral after being featured in Twitter Moments, and though there's been some negative comments, there's also been an outpouring of positivity and support from the Twitterverse.

In the immortal words of RuPaul: "If you can't love yourself, how in the hell are you going to love somebody else?" One thing here is crystal clear. Jorge and K are two fierce and gorgeous souls.
