The twenties and thirties are hard times for single women who are lone rangers in a society that perpetually favors coupling. But they don't have to be. In fact, LA-based comedian Mo Welch actually makes it look fun.
She draws a little cartoon woman accompanied by phrases about the single life that are hilariously accurate. She calls the cartoon series "Live from Lombard," which she began in response to living the single life as a 30-something in Lombard, IL, Buzzfeed reports. She explained that she drew the cartoon, named Blair, to help process her own feelings, but clearly, she wasn't alone in feeling them.
She told Buzzfeed what she wants those other 20- and 30-somethings to know:
"It's okay to not have everything figured out. Nobody has it figured out and if they do they are an asshole. It's okay to eat a Pop Tart for dinner once in awhile. It's okay to watch Nicholas Sparks movies alone in the theater on opening night. It's okay to feel or be depressed."
