When Surinam native Mitchell Brunings took the stage for the blind audition on The Voice of Holland's fourth season, no one could have foreseen the awe that the casually-dressed psychiatric social therapist would inspire in the judges and audience.
That changed as soon as he opened his mouth with a beautiful rendition of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song."
Although Brunings was the runner-up that season, his performance led to being cast as the lead in Marley, a musical based on the life of Bob Marley that enjoyed a run last spring.
