Miley Cyrus' Latest Christmas Cover Reminds Us How Much Talent She Really Has

Absolutely stunning.

Oftentimes, artists mess around with classic songs by changing up notes and adding their own touches. But sometimes, they cover tracks while sticking to the song's strong roots.

And the results are magical.

Take, for instance, Miley Cyrus' latest cover of the Christmas classic, "Silent Night." It's done without any extra frills or wild antics akin to some of Cyrus' other appearances. Instead, Cyrus sits atop a white piano against illuminated Christmas trees and simply sings heart out.

Much like the style of her acoustic sessions (think her covers of "Jolene" and "Summertime Sadness"), Miley's raspy, powerful voice does "Silent Night" the emotional justice it deserves.

Moreover, Cyrus' Christmas performance was shot as part of Netflix's "A Very Murray Christmas," directed by Sofia Coppola.

Already, the release of her stunning "Silent Night" cover has wowed audiences and viewers:

"Say what you will about Miley Cyrus, but underneath all the glitter, beads and prosthetic penis outfits, there's a woman who can really sing," The Huffington Post's Julia Brucculieri writes.
