Miley Cyrus And Maya Rudolph Declare 'I'm A Woman' In An Empowering Duet

"W-O-M-A-N / And I'll say it again."

Those who only know Miley Cyrus for riding a wrecking ball and twerking at the VMAs will surely be pleasantly surprised to learn that she can belt out the classics like the best of them. That was definitely apparent during her knockout performance on last night's premiere episode of Maya & Marty, Maya Rudolph and Martin Short's new variety show.

Miley used the performance to declare both "I'm Your Man" and "I'm a Woman," with songs originally sung by Leonard Cohen and Peggy Lee, respectively. Starting things off in a smart suit and sparkly top hat, she eventually tore away the pants for the second half. She is still Miley, after all.

The already entertaining segment was made even better when Maya Rudolph herself made a dramatic appearance on stage to help Miley spell out just how much women can do. And when we say "spell out," we do mean that literally.

" 'Cause I'm a woman / W-O-M-A-N / And I'll say it again."

Maya & Marty will run for six weeks on NBC. Is it too much to ask that Miley be a series regular? We could watch her and Maya do their thing forever.
