"Being a Michael Bublé fan is one of the best parts of my life," Lauren Lauwers says in a new video for Vogue.
And though she's never met the singer himself, she's witnessed seven of his concerts and owns all of his albums. Now, Vogue's invited Lauwers to Warner Bros. Records in Los Angeles for a memorabilia tour and an exclusive listen to Bublé's new song, "My Kind of Girl."
But, unbeknownst to her, Bublé's actually in the building, waiting to surprise Lauwers when she least expects it.
"I think your fans are an extension of everything that you do," Bublé tells Vogue. "I believe that if your song doesn't connect emotionally with those people, you're going to be alone singing in your bathroom mirror with a hairbrush."
With that, Bublé surprises Lauwers and the two head out for a sound test, or, according to the video, a "trial run of a musician's album before final release to ensure it sounds good in a non-studio environment; typically audio tested in a car, where more of their fans will experience the final product."
We're pretty sure that this is one experience both parties will remember for a long time.
