The human brain is one of the most complex and awe-inspiring organs in existence. Though it functions as a supercomputer and regulates nearly all bodily processes, there is still a lot that scientists don't know about how it operates. Still, there are some things that have been masquerading as fact that research has shown time and again to be false.
Despite some movies that keep the myth alive, it simply isn't true that humans only use 10 percent of our brains. (Saying that humans only use 10 percent of their potential is another thing to be discussed another time, however). Is there a connection to the brain's size and intelligence? Do genetics really determine how gifted someone will be in a certain subject?
