Last night, Jimmy Fallon took on "The Boss" Melissa McCarthy in a "Tonight Show" Lip Sync Battle.
Things started out relatively calm in round 1, as Fallon took on Melanie's 1971 song "Brand New Key."
McCarthy then countered with a rousing performance of DMX's "X Gon' Give It to Ya." Oh, she gave it to him, alright.
Enter round 2. This is where things start going a little left field.
Fallon turns up the heat and gets "in-Zayn in the membrane" with a scintillating and literal rendition of Zayn's song "Pillowtalk."
You had us at "pillow," Jimmy.
It got seriously ridiculous, but don't worry, McCarthy was about to completely top that in a moment. This was a battle to the end.
For her swan song, McCarthy went full-on Disney and pulled out the "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas.
McCarthy simply wasn't leaving anything to chance in this performance. Once she pulls out the high school safety goggles, you knew she was going for the win and this was about get out of hand.
It starts off with McCarthy doing some wonderfully articulate hand dances, but don't be fooled, this was just the calm before the sparkle and stuffed animal storm.
