This Young Woman Refuses To Let Down Syndrome Define Her

There's no stopping her.

Megan Bomgaars does not hesitate when she calls herself a 'special person,' and rightfully so. She was the first cheerleader with Down Syndrome in Colorado on a squad that went to state, and then national, competition. After graduating from high school, Miss Bomgaars modeled, worked for the Mile High Down Syndrome Association, and has since gone on to public speaking and advocacy for the differently abled.

This video was posted on YouTube by Cathleen Allen last year. In it, we see Megan delivering a powerful message about limitations.
