Marriage is a mix of hard work, compromise, and communication. Couples may opt for professional help when they realize their marriage is struggling. Such counselors have helped couples on the verge of divorce reconcile their issues, strengthened a couple's bond, or just helped a couple work through an issue or two. Yet even with all the positives that can come out of therapy, people still often have negative associations. Some falsely believe that going in for a session means that your marriage is failing.
