Earlier this week we announced the exciting news that Target plans to ditch designated "girl" and boy" on signage in stores to fight against gender stereotypes. The stereotypes that separate little girls' and boys' interests for no reason, and do more harm than good.
While many applauded Target, others were a bit upset. They posted their complaints to the official Target Facebook page, but little did they know Target would take the time to respond. Well, not the real Target, exactly, but a man who decided to pose as the retail giant.
Mike Melgaard responded to more than 20 angry people and trolled the hell out of them, later posting each of his responses to his own Facebook page.
"People thought I was target and that's all you need to know," he wrote on the album.
Yes, it is.
