U.S. President Expert Macey Heads To The CMAs As Ellen's Special Correspondent

"I think it's safe to say the red carpet has never been more adorable."

Before Beyoncé and the Dixie Chicks could take to the stage for their incredible performance of "Daddy Lessons" at the Country Music Association Awards (CMAs), one very important interviewer headed to the red carpet to meet with all of the evening's attendees.

"I think it's safe to say the red carpet has never been more adorable," Ellen DeGeneres says before premiering a video recap featuring Macey Hensley, The Ellen Show's special CMA correspondent, in all her glory.

Macey, who first appeared on The Ellen Show due to her impressive knowledge of U.S. Presidents, is also a huge country music fan — so, naturally, there was no one better to interview celebrities such as Luke Bryan, Hunter Hayes, and Elle King as they arrived for the show.

There, Macey was sure to hand out stickers and candy to passersby and relay a message to duo Dan + Shay:

"Oh, and my grandma loves your song, 'From the Ground Up,' " she says.

"This is the best interview on the carpet so far," Cassadee Pope says after Macey offers her a cup of candy.

The interview is certainly refreshing, and watching Macey interact with the country stars is sure to put a smile on your face.
