Why This College Football Player Couldn't Stop Crying At Press Conference Is Awesome

What a stand up guy.

Most post-game press conferences are about wins and losses or — occasionally — an outburst of frustration. But Rice running back Luke Turner decided to use his time to thank his coach David Bailiff

"That man right there stuck with me," he said while fighting back tears. "I'll love him forever for it. He helped me get paid for a great education that I know I'll use very well. And he let me keep playing this game that I love."

Turner had 54 yards on the ground to go with a short touchdown pass in Rice's dominant 27-7 victory over Charlotte. It's clear as the senior's college career comes to an end he has a great deal of respect and gratitude for his coach.
