These Children Are Deaf, But Thanks To One Musician, They're Rockin' Out At This Concert

Sound is only part of the equation.

A concert may seem like the last place people who are deaf or who have trouble hearing would find enjoyable. But that could be changing.

Musician Lucho Quequezana utilized colorful lights and vibrations during a show in Lima, Peru, in which he performed traditional Christmas songs.

"The idea was to give a group of deaf children a concert so that, for the first times in their lives, they would discover the structure of music and how music functions for us," he says.
