Lin-Manuel Miranda Looks A Little Different After Saying Goodbye To 'Hamilton'

That didn't take long.

If you're still in denial that this past Saturday night was really Lin-Manuel Miranda's final performance as Alexander Hamilton in his Tony-winning musical, look no further than his hair.

Mere hours after the final curtain call, Miranda tweeted a telling photo of a lock of hair on a table, along with the caption "Teach 'em how to say goodbye..."

That's right, Lin-Manuel Miranda has already cut off his signature Hamilton hair.

If you still can't believe it, here's a photo of the cut in progress, as shared on Twitter by his father, Luis A. Miranda, Jr.

Fans on social media are calling it the #Hamilcut and mourning the loss of the luscious hair Miranda has been sporting in the role for as long as many of us can remember.

Miranda showed off the new style at his after-party, and while it may not be very Hamilton, you have to admit it's not too shabby, especially paired with a Muhammad Ali shirt.

As for the curtain call that preceded the cut, it was live streamed on the Hamilton Facebook page Saturday night. Miranda took his final bow to the tune of the West Wing theme.

His co-stars Leslie Odom Jr. (Aaron Burr) and Phillipa Soo (Eliza Hamilton) also said farewell to the show the same night.

See their final moments on stage in the video below:

Still feeling down? Might we suggest the "Hamilton as Dogs" Twitter account for an instant smile?
