A Rapper Made A Song Dedicated To Weezy And Now It's His Favorite Record

Naturally, it's called "Lil Wayne."

On July 2, a Toronto rapper by the name of Jazz Cartier made a song dedicated to Lil Wayne called, of course, "Lil Wayne."

The song premiered on Drake's OVO Sound Radio and the cover art features an artist rendering of Wayne from his earlier days with Cash Money Records.

In the song, Cartier drops a number of references to some of Weezy's famous bars from songs such as "Fireman" and "Bling Bling."

It wasn't before long that Wayne heard the song.

After hearing the Lanz produced track, Tunechi took to his Twitter to give Cartier a shout out, telling him that the new song was his favorite thing out.

Nice to see Cartier get some love in return for his dedication, who was shocked that the "Best Rapper Alive," took the time to thank him.
