16 Librarians Anonymously Confessed What Really Goes On Between The Stacks

"I secretly judge you based on the materials you check out."

The Whisper app, an online platform that allows users to anonymously post confessions, has helped expose how people really feel about their given occupation. From nannies, to wedding planners, to Disney World workers, we've learned a lot about what it's like to hold down jobs we've never had. Most recently, we came across a series of confessions from librarians that piqued our interest.

Several librarians used the Whisper app to anonymously confess what it's like to help patrons find and check out books and reorganize the stacks. Their confessions shed light on some of the everyday struggles they face at work, and remind us that every job comes with its own occupational hazards. So, next time you're at library, be sure to put your best foot forward and be as polite as possible. You could be the difference between a librarian having a bad day and having a good one.
