Makeup Artist Transforms Her Face Into Some Of History's Most Exquisite Paintings

We can't wait to see what she does next.

From Gustav Klimt's The Kiss, to Renoir's Two Sisters (On the Terrace), one makeup artist uses cosmetic products to transform her face into these famous works of art.

The artist, Lexie Lazear, has been painting faces for about 20 years, according to her website

"Starting in face and body painting at a very young age, she's done makeup for theater, editorial, runway, celebrities, and weddings.  She specializes in clean, classic, glamorous beauty makeup and theatrical makeup and wig design."

In her most recent Instagram posts, Lazear's highlighted her incredible knack for recreating paintings on the face's landscape, focusing recognizable elements from the works onto her eyelids, cheeks, lips, and brows.

For example, in one image, Lazear uses Edgar Degas' work, Two Dancers Entering the Stage to inform her ballerina-esque eye makeup.

"Art is expression," Lazear tells BuzzFeed. "And we're all unique, looking for ways to express that."
