Lena Dunham Explains Feminism Perfectly In Hilarious #AskLena Video
To promote her new book, Not That Kind of Girl, or perhaps just to engage with her fans because why not, Lena Dunham answers questions from women who wrote her in with the #AskLena hashtag.
The first question came from fan Andrea who inquired what it meant to be a feminist that wears booty shorts. She felt a bit of cognitive dissonance. "Should I be feeling guilty?" Andrea asks.
Of course, the "Girls" star responded in the best way: "A huge part of being a feminist," she says, "is allowing, giving other women the freedom to make choices you may not necessarily make yourself."
She then explains that even she occasionally runs around in a see-through rain-dress.
Rock on, Lena.
