NSYNC Fans Will Love The Nostalgia-Filled Photo Lance Bass Shared For The #PuberMe Challenge

He's tearin' up our hearts.

We've been enjoying all the celebrity contributions to the #PuberMe challenge, but Lance Bass just one-upped everyone. With perfect timing, the 38-year-old gave us a major dose of '90s nostalgia that will fill any NSYNC fan's heart with butterflies — this we promise you.

Tearin' up our hearts in the process, Bass took to Instagram and shared a throwback photo of the day he met his fellow boy bandmates in Orlando, Fla. It was from this day in 1995 that Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Justin Timberlake — all with bright eyes, baby faces, and big ol' smiles — began cementing themselves a spot in the music history books.

"22 years ago today I met these jackasses," Bass wrote alongside the nostalgia-filled snapshot. "My life would never be the same. Happy #NsyncDay #PuberMe #PuertoRicoRelief."

This isn't the first time the NSYNC boys have reunited — getting together back in 2016 for JC's birthday — but it is one of the few times they have done so since saying bye, bye, bye in the early 2000s. Since then we've had to suffice with other people singing their hits, whether that be groups like Pentatonix spreading Christmas joy or one-man wonders like Todrick Hall delivering excellent mash-ups featuring all kinds of '90s jams.

The #PuberMe challenge was first spawned last week when Nick Kroll was promoting his new Netflix series Big Mouth on The Late Show. After Kroll showed an old photo of him at the age of 13, he was joined by host Stephen Colbert who shared one as well and issued a challenge.

He told other celebrities to share awkward photos of themselves at or around the age of 13 — about the time they would be going through puberty — and he would donate to help Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Kroll promised to match the donations, too.
