Kindergarteners Watch A Chick Hatch And Immediately Start Singing Happy Birthday

This is one of those videos that just instantly brightens your day.

Sometimes social media can really suck a lot and other times it can offer up gems like this. In a video that has gone viral on Twitter, kindergarten children are amazed as they watch a chick hatch from an egg  — and then immediately greet the newborn to the world by singing "Happy Birthday." Their reaction is so sweet and pure, it instantly puts a smile on your face.

Twitter user @meaghan_fogarty shared the video on Jan. 25 with the caption, "my mom's kindergarten class watching a chick hatch and then singing happy birthday to it." In just a few days, it's amassed nearly 165,000 retweets and has over 471,000 likes.

But let's stop talking about it and start watching it because the 37 seconds speak for themselves.

The video has adorable squeals, a unison of "awwws," and one sweet kid exclaiming, "It's so cute!"

And, of course, this moment:

"CHA CHA CHA!"

"Not that loud!"

"cha cha cha."

Listen, we don't know about you, but our hearts have certainly been warmed on this cold, hard Monday. Thanks, kids.
