Early Sunday, Kevin Hart took to his Instagram to post a picture in a new outfit from the filming of Jimmy Fallon's epic lip sync battle skit.
He captioned the photo "#ComedicRockstarShit #DopePic #itsShowtimePeople #SuperBowl."
If only the Internet was as positive as Hart was about his leather vest.
Drake, Lil Duval and Marlon Wayans all logged on to thrown some comedic shade in Hart's direction. Before you knew it, it was an all-out war on Insta.
Here's another look at the now-infamous leather vest.
First, Drake chimed in, trying to protect Hart's image.
He wrote, "Kevin...no. Please don't do this tonight. #IsThatLeatherDriFit#PleaseTellMeThereAreOtherOptions #ThisIsABillBellamyFit #BalmainWillNotHireYou#ThisManIsOverlyLit."
Good thing that the GQ Man of The Year was active on the 'gram last night.
Lil Duval's response was a little snarkier, in contrast.
"Maaaaaan @kevinhart4real if u don't get the f*** outta here wit that full body waist trainer on," he wrote.
Meanwhile, Marlon Wayans basically wrote an entire graduate essay about the black leather vest.
"This look like the chocolate dropper version of the Get Rich or Die Tryin album cover," he said, adding, "That vest is so tight your chest is screaming 'nooooooooooo'! (*in my@kevinhart4real voice.)."
But Hart was having none of it.
Upon hearing about Drake, Duval and Wayans' posts throwing shots at his outfit, he decided to stand up for himself — and to start a (social media) war.
First up on the Kevin Hart Instagram hit list? Marlon Wayans. He uploaded this photo with the caption, "Your face looks like one of the Footballs that Tom Brady let the air out of."
Duval was the next to receive Hart's wrath.
"U look like a Bass Fish that somebody caught in a competition....Boooooom," the "Think Like A Man," he wrote.
Lastly, but certainly not least, Drake was the recipient of a thorough roast of his hookah/bathtub picture.
"This looks like a Lionel Ritchie album cover....what in the hell are you staring at???" Hart asked the rapper.
Only time will tell how this Instagram fashion fight turns out. Hopefully, keyboards and iPhone screens everywhere will remain intact.
