We all remember Lady Gaga's moving performance of "Til It Happens To You" at the Oscars.
While at the Humane Society's L.A. Gala, Kesha took the stage to perform her own rendition of Gaga's powerful song.
Before she started, she spoke some words of strength, saying, "I wanna dedicate this song to every man, woman, animal, and child that has ever been abused."
As the music came in and she began singing, she choked up a bit. After a moment of gaining her composure, she delivered a truly breathtaking cover of the award-winning song.
Gaga herself heard about the performance and tweeted out a message for Kesha, which has since garnered more than 10,000 retweets and 25,000 Likes.
Kesha retweeted Gaga herself and also thanked news outlets for relaying her struggle to the world.
Kesha continues to fight and has since been able to record new music with producer, Zedd.
In addition to releasing "True Colors," the singer also announced she will be performing at the Mad Decent Block Party this summer.
There is a still a long road of recovery in store for Kesha, but it seems as though she is slowly gaining back some strength, which we are certainly glad to see.
