Front Flip Knockout Karate Kick Is Absolutely Sick

There are few activities that are as perfect an intersection of art, physical force and universal respect as karate.

In the video above, all three of those qualities are on display. One blow to the head, one artful front flip, and one victor's upstanding decision not to celebrate or gloat after winning the match.

Karate, meaning "empty hands," has a long and storied history, dating back an estimated 2,500 years. Now, nearly 100 million people across the globe practice karate, including several United States national teams that compete internationally.

But not until this YouTube video featuring two teenagers have we seen a kick like that.
