Last week, Justin Timberlake surprised the world with his first new song in three years, "Can't Stop The Feeling." The first single off the upcoming DreamWorks Animation Trolls soundtrack, it soon became a hot contender for song of the summer.
After firmly re-establishing his solo career (in less than a day), Timberlake has since decided to branch out and become one half of a charming folk duo, "Anna & Garfunkel."
The Anna in question is none other than Timberlake's aca-mazing Trolls co-star, Anna Kendrick.
Together, they sang a heartfelt acoustic cover of Cyndi Lauper's classic, "True Colors."
And totally nailed it.
They performed the song Tuesday to promote Trolls at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. Timberlake and Kendrick voice the lead roles of Branch and Princess Poppy, respectively. The two trolls must go on an adventure far from home to protect their village from a mysterious threat.
Timberlake and Kendrick aren't the only two multitalented Trolls. James Corden, Gwen Stefani, Zooey Deschanel, Icona Pop, and Russell Brand all lent their melodious tones to the film.
While fans still have to wait until November 4 for "Trolls" to premiere, that just means there's plenty of time for more awesome musical cast collaborations.
One can only imagine the magic that may happen if Corden has any of his co-stars on The Late Late Show ...
Or, if all else fails, you can always pass the time alternating between "Can't Stop the Feeling" and "True Colors."
