Julia Louis-Dreyfus Received The Very Funny Support Of Her 'Veep' Co-Stars Before Chemo

"I'm psyched AF."

Emmy-winning actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus has the continued support of her Veep co-stars as she battles breast cancer. The former Seinfeld star posted a video to social media on Thursday showing actors Sam Richardson and Matt Walsh (her "darling bozos" who play Richard and Mike on the show) trying their best to "psych her up" her for her third round of chemotherapy.

"And guess what? It worked. I'm psyched AF," Louis-Dreyfus wrote to accompany the video, in which Richardson and Walsh research motivational quotes online. They run into some awkwardness when the only results they can find come from some rather controversial sources

"Let's just psych her up with a song," Walsh eventually decides after three failed attempts to find an appropriate quote. "Kick some ass today, Julia!" he declares, as the two of them proceed to dance and sing along to "Eye of the Tiger."

That seems to be Louis-Drefus' power phrase through her cancer battle, as last month Tony Hale and Timothy Simons (her other "bozos" on the show) made their own video set to Katy Perry's "Roar," reminding her that she's got "the eye of the tiger" and is "a fighter." She responded with a badass Instagram photo.

Speaking of badass photos, the actress shared another one on Thursday, featuring her and a group of women who work on Veep wearing T-shirts that read, "Nevertheless, she persisted." And we're sure she will.

Louis-Dreyfus revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in September, using the announcement as a call for universal health care, so the 1 in 8 women who get breast cancer can be as "lucky" as she is to have insurance. She also gave a shout-out to her "most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends."

It's not just the show's team who have shown their love for the star with a little bit of humor. In addition to an outpouring of fan support, former Vice President Joe Biden tweeted an image of him and Louis-Dreyfus (as her character Selina Meyer) donning sunglasses in a 2014 White House Correspondents' Dinner sketch, writing, "We Veeps stick together."

The same can clearly be said for Veep stars.
