Josh Gad And Jimmy Fallon Sing A Wonderfully Weird Duet Of 'Beauty And The Beast'

Box of Microphones strikes again.

Josh Gad stopped by The Tonight Show Tuesday night ahead of Friday's Beauty and the Beast release, and host Jimmy Fallon couldn't resist playing one of his weirdest games with the actor. You might remember previous guests such as such as Idris Elba and Amy Adams playing Box of Microphones, in which each player chooses a microphone with a different vocal effect to sing a popular song.

In honor of Gad's new movie, this time around the theme was Disney songs. The star kicked things off with a fitting tune — "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" from Frozen, in which Gad starred as none other than Olaf the snowman. The cute song is somehow made even cuter thanks to the microphone's squeaky sound effect.

Then it's Fallon's turn to try his hand at "Circle of Life" from The Lion King, in a voice so deep it puts even James Earl Jones' Mufasa to shame. But the real showstopper comes when Fallon and Gad sing a duet of none other than "Beauty and the Beast." The twist is that their microphones keep changing voice effects, from robotic to high-pitched. The pair really gives John Legend and Ariana Grande a run for their money.
