If You Need Social Lessons, This Is Why Seth Meyers Should Be Your Coach

"You're always talking about how you don't have any friends, and this is why."

Jon Snow has lived a tough life.

His father's head was chopped off. He doesn't even know who his mother is. His brother was stabbed to death at his own wedding. And a child murdered his first love in cold blood.

As if that's not bad enough, Snow doesn't have any time to relax and unwind. When he's not mourning the loss of all of those people, he fights 55-foot giants.

With all of that in mind, it's understandable that the bastard son of Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell probably doesn't have very much in common with the members of Seth Meyers' quintessential dinner party.  But Seth wants to help him make friends.

With one of late night's favorite TV personalities as his coach, Snow spends the evening implementing advice for how to relate to people in social settings.

For example: “Make small talk.”

Crossfit. The ultimate small talk, dinner party topic.

By the end of the night, Snow learns the importance of being himself. He may have come across as a little bit of a downer at first, but as soon as he embraces the stuff that makes him unique and cool, the whole room is dying to kick it with him.

Hopefully they won't actually die, though. This guy has had enough tragedy to deal with.
