Don’t Worry, Jimmy Fallon Fixed All Of Those Outdated Christmas Songs

"Deez Nuts roasting on an open fire ..."

"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."

While the Code of Elves does have a point about ramping up the holiday spirit, it fails to address that a lot of the Christmas carols we all know and love are a little outdated.

Does anyone even have a one-horse open sleigh anymore? Chestnuts roasting on an open fire sounds a bit like a safety hazard, and it's been a while since any of us have gone a-wassailing. Kids today just can't relate to these songs like they used to.

For better or for worse, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon's latest "Hashtags" segment has spruced up some of these old standards by making them fit for 2015, by asking people to submit their best #UpdatedXmasCarols.

Drake's sweater will prove useful for this one!

"Five-page essay due!"

The things that mistletoe has seen ...

"But as for me and Grandpa, we took a Lyft."

"Thy hashtags are always changing"
