People Read Nonsensical Texts From Their Moms On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' And It Has Everyone Cracking Up

"Mother's Day is a chance to honor the women who gave us life, who love us, who leave us long voicemails and send us nonsensical text messages ..." Jimmy Kimmel begins for a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live highlighting those brilliant text messages.

For anyone who can relate, those text messages are the ones that come at any time of the day, talk completely in or out of context about whatever's on their minds, and, of course, make us love our mothers even more.

So, to celebrate Mother's Day this upcoming weekend, Kimmel asked the show's staff to read texts from their moms, in a style much like the show's "mean tweets" series, for all of us to enjoy.

Here are some of our favorites:

"Christina it's your mother. Where are you? I haven't heard or seen you in four days! This is not a hotel, this is a family home ... "

"... I have an outlet on the wall above the fireplace and only need 2 plugs for the whole setup. He plugged the dvd into the cable box. We can talk more about it this weekend..."

"Watching horse movies and having a bud light."

"I hi honey I'm using I'm using the microphone on the on the phone so I hope it comes out anyway I'm just thinking I'm going to be nice to get home you're going to sit at home with silly ... "

Ah, the joys of mom texts. Be sure to hear them all in the video below:
