Politicians always publicize their policies, but how much do potential voters really pay attention?
For example, did you know Donald Trump recently unveiled his tax plan? The plan would increase taxes on the "very rich" and eliminate federal income taxes for individuals earning less than $25,000 per year and married couples who jointly earn less than $50,000 per year.
Jimmy Kimmel wondered if people would know this was his policy. "It seems to me that people pick a candidate and go along with whatever that candidate says," Kimmel said during Jimmy Kimmel Live.
So, the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" crew concocted an experiment to find out. They went on the street and found strangers who claimed to be Hillary Clinton supporters.
All five Hillary Clinton supporters said they would not support Trump. Little did they know they were about to prove themselves wrong.
The Jimmy Kimmel Live team asked each Clinton supporter a series of questions about her tax plan.
“Would you support Hillary Clinton’s plan to cut the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 15 percent?”
"Do you support her plan to eliminate the alternative minimum tax?"
What they didn't know was the plan they described was actually Trump's.
