Jimmy Fallon's #WorstGiftEver Gives New Meaning To 'You Shouldn't Have!'

"I thought you liked that crap."

'Tis the season for giving gifts as a token of our generosity and love for others. There's something really magical about giving someone a really great present that they actually love. Whether it's a material item or paying for an unforgettable experience, great gifts from a loved one are a connection that really adds sentimental value and will be cherished for years to come.

No matter how hard one tries, however, not every gift will hit the mark the way it was intended. Even if it's not ideal, good intentions show that the thought really does count and everything still ends up being OK.

But what when there's nothing even salvageable about the intention?

In the latest installment of the "Hashtags" segment, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon asked viewers to share their #WorstGiftEver. Some of these were so bad, if it was the thought that truly counted, they might need to rethink some of their personal relationships.

Here are some gifts that just don't have any redeeming qualities:

Put a pin in it and start an insect collection, maybe?

Better late than never?

However, it is the #BestGiftEver from the sister's perspective

Yeah, that's a bit unfortunate.

Kids: More observant than you think.

Ouch ... at least it saved the hassle of having to retrieve her stuff later.
