Jimmy Fallon Reads #MyFamilyIsWeird Tweets, Making Us Feel Better About Our Own Families

"... the day after Thanksgiving is Ham Slap Day ..."

Introducing an outsider to your family is kind of a big occasion. Often times, these people need to be prepped about what not to say in order to avoid a fiasco, or have the behaviors of certain relatives explained away ahead of time. Whether a family's weirdness is embraced or just a supply of endless facepalms, it's something we all have to deal with.

In the latest edition of "Hashtags" on The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon asked viewers to submit examples of things their family members do that are totally embarrassing and weird.

It's actually a little bit worrying how fantastic some of the responses were.

To get the ball rolling, Fallon admits his family is kind of weird, too.

This is an extreme way of remembering someone's name.

Parental involvement is good, but this might be going too far ...

Perhaps it made him more accepting of others? That wouldn't be a bad thing!

It was a celebratory occasion, after all.

Losing pets can be hard.

Honestly, his parents sound awesome and delightful.
