Hear This Brilliant Musician's Viola Cover Of Desiigner's 'Panda'

"I've never covered a hip-hop song in my entire life and wanted to challenge myself."

Last year, classically trained violist Jeremy Green released a summer mash-up that completely blew us away.

Since then, Green's posted numerous covers to YouTube, including ones to Drake's "One Dance," Justin Bieber's "Sorry," and Adele's "Hello."

"It's funny how fast you can grow as a cover artist in such a little amount of time," Green tells A Plus in an email.

"I'm no longer afraid of taking risks and throwing in random twists in songs. I'm more confident and anxious to hear new songs from my favorite singers and see how fast I can learn them on my viola. After completing a year at Berklee College of Music, I'm more open to the idea of collaborating on projects with other artists and learning more about different styles of music. I'm thrilled to see the growth taking place and I cannot wait to see how much more I'll learn over the upcoming years," Green adds.

That said, Green's just released a cover of Desiigner's "Panda," a song he says is incredibly different from his usual style.

"I was a little nervous about how this particular cover would come out, but it ended up being one of my favorite videos that I've ever done on YouTube," he adds, proving that stepping out of one's comfort zone is worth the reward.

In just a couple of days, Green's "Panda" video has already raked in thousands of views — and we're sure it won't stop there.
