Jennifer Lawrence Led Her Fellow Plane Passengers In An Eagles Chant On Super Bowl Sunday

"Fly, Eagles, fly!"

If you were wondering which team Jennifer Lawrence was rooting for in this year's Super Bowl, look no further than this viral video of the actress leading her fellow plane passengers in a pro-Eagles chant this weekend.

Lawrence was reportedly traveling from New Orleans to Los Angeles on Sunday when she got on the plane's loudspeaker. "Everybody, this is not the pilot speaking, this is Jennifer Lawrence," she can be seen saying in the video. "It's February 4, it's Super Bowl Sunday. We all know what that means."

Lawrence proceeded to chant, "Fly, Eagles, fly!" Although the announcement didn't inspire as much enthusiasm as she likely hoped, a few passengers can be heard chanting with her, and some can even be seen putting their hands in the air.

The video ends with Lawrence quoting Kristen Wiig in Bridesmaids, telling passengers there's a "colonial woman on the plane," before a flight attendant cuts her off. It's not clear if the crew was in on the stunt.

"They certainly didn't apologize, so I think they were fine with it," one passenger told People about the moment, adding that Lawrence also took a selfie with someone in an Eagles jersey. "They asked her and she very happily said yes."

If you're wondering what Kentucky native Lawrence was doing rooting for the Eagles, the answer lies in her Oscar-winning role in Silver Linings Playbook, which takes place in Philadelphia. Her co-star Bradley Cooper, himself a Philly native, attended Sunday's big game.

Lawrence wasn't the only one to lead her fellow passengers in a chant this weekend. Pink, who sang the national anthem at Sunday's game, posted an Instagram video of her brother taking over the loudspeaker on his own flight. It seemed to work, as the Eagles beat the Patriots to win their first Super Bowl.
