Guy Sets Up ‘Relationship Saving Station’ In Ikea To Keep Couples From Fighting

"No one can argue while wearing these stupid milk hats."

Ah, IKEA. The place where affordable home decor dreams come true, and relationships go to die. As if picking out furniture that matches both your tastes weren't difficult enough, those comically minimal instructions for putting their ready-to-assemble pieces together are a recipe for disagreements. But hey, it's all worth it once you realize how much stuff you can fit on that versatile, three-tiered rolling cart.

Anyway, comedian and guerrilla artist Jeff Wysaski recently had an idea to help ease some of the tension that couples may feel while at the superstore.

"Going to IKEA can often be a relationship killer. I snuck into my local store and installed this 'Relationship Saving Station' to help out," he wrote on his website

The station featured "five quick ways to ease tension with a loved one." On it was instructions to do a variety of silly things — from putting on those dumb hats that are supposed to make you look like a missing person on a carton, to yelling at a tiny horse — meant to erase negative feelings between couples, or at least redirect it elsewhere.

Wysaski, who runs the popular blog Obvious Plant, is known for these types of humorous, public  stunts. In the past, he's planted new and improved paint color names at the hardware store, dropped some awfully unhelpful, but totally silly advice for shopping at the grocery store, and posted up a few personality cards for numerous cats at a local rescue. He's even stopped by IKEA in the past to post hilarious in-store reviews of products
