This Artist Draws The Evolution Of Some Of Our Favorite Movie Stars And Characters

Which one is your favorite?

For Los Angeles-based illustrator Jeff Victor, movies aren't just movies — they're the inspiration for works of art. This is evident through his self-proclaimed "adorkable" renditions of famous characters, such as Wolverine and Wonder Woman, as well as the actors who played them, including Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, and more.

In a series of images featured on Victor's Instagram, blog, and Facebook pages, the artist draws the evolution of these characters, and more, to show how they've changed over time and to express his love for his favorite movies, too. He also highlights actors' careers, showing some of their first movie roles and how they've transitioned throughout the years.

For example, Victor recently drew Wonder Woman from 1942, 1975, and 2017, commemorating the release of the latest film starring actress Gal Gadot:

"This week sees the release of the very first Wonder Woman movie, and I am so pumped!" Victor writes on Instagram, adding that it's about time she got her own movie (amen!).

In another series, Victor draws the evolution of Johnny Depp's characters, like his role as Willy Wonka in 2005 and the Mad Hatter in 2010.

We love seeing Victor's passions translated through such a creative outlet, and we can't wait to see what he draws up next! Check out more below:
