Artist Uses Cutouts To Turn Dogs Into Hilarious Characters

Artist Jay Riggio's work is sure to make you do a double-take.

According to his website, Riggio was inspired to create his first collage "from the overwhelming desire to tell a visual story without the classic ability to illustrate." That's why his Instagram account features a series of collage photographs placing dogs in hilarious scenes, with the help of clever paper cut-outs.

In one image, Rosie the dog dresses up for Thanksgiving alongside a picture of two girls. In another, Butters the dog impersonates Ziggy Stardust in honor of the late David Bowie.

Moreover, each photo is captioned with a caption explaining the scenario, adding to the comedic personality of each photograph.

Check out the photos below:

"Recently, Butters' pimp game has been particularly strong."

"Rosie's wearing this sh*t to Thanksgiving dinner."

"Butters as Ziggy Stardust in 1978. 'Should I kiss the viper's fang? Or herald loud the death of Man?' "

"In the early 80s, Rosie worked at an orphanage in Wisconsin."

"This is what Rosie would look like if she were a frightening bat."

"In the late 80s, Butters partied with Christian Hosoi and skated only vert."
